Bulgarian Troyan Pottery Tea Pot Cup Saucers Set Hand thrown Stoneware Vintage

Bulgarian Troyan Handmade Pottery Set:

1 x Tea Pot & saucer with 1 x  Cup and saucer. 

The glazing has some scratches / signs of use on the surface, as is expected with older items. 

Dimensions are: 
tea pot 15cm tall x 15cm wide incl handle and nozzle and lid, capacity is approximately 500ml
cup 5.5cm tall x 9cm diameter, saucers 13cm diameter

Beautiful Vintage Hand thrown terracotta clay. The terracotta clay from the Bulgarian region has a distinct red colour that turns Bulgarian pottery into a deep reddish brown once fired.
The style is said to be different based on the different women (or men) who make it by hand, with each having distinct pattern designs and colours they prefer.
